How Logitech doubled booked meetings without building an outbound team

A launch calendar, a clear target audience, and nobody internally to pick up the phone. The target was eleven meetings. Twenty-three were delivered.

Logitech is a global leader in personal peripherals and workplace technology — the hardware behind hybrid meetings and connected classrooms. Going into a year of product launches and events, what it did not have was anyone to call the people it most wanted in the room.

The challenge

A strategy with nobody to run it

Benny Andersson, Marketing Manager B2B and Education, had the plan. What he lacked was the muscle to execute it. When a launch approached, his team could send a mass email — and that was the extent of the options. Nobody was booking meetings. Nobody was calling the right people about event invitations.

The cost showed up in two places: sales opportunities that were never opened, and seats that stayed empty at events Logitech had already paid to run.

“Email alone just doesn’t get the same results as a phone call.”

The approach

Taking the lead, not waiting for the brief

Logitech had worked with us before, and that history did most of the early work. The same consultants returned to the account, which meant no re-briefing on the product, the audience or the tone.

“That consistency is gold — we never have to start from scratch.”

From there we took ownership rather than instruction. Strategy, target-group definition and consultant training all sat on our side. Weekly check-ins, transparent reporting and a shared portal gave Benny’s team full visibility of the campaign without any of the daily running of it.

That distinction matters more than it sounds. An outbound partner who waits to be directed becomes another thing to manage; the point of the engagement was to remove work, not relocate it.

“We arrive with the target group drafted, the sequences written and the consultants already trained, so Benny’s team edits rather than originates. If they have to brief us first, we have added work to their week instead of taking it off.”

The results

Twice the target, and none of it padding

  • Higher-quality opportunities. Logitech’s partners fed back that the meetings reaching them were worth taking — not volume padded to hit a count.
  • Optimised during, not after. Our project leader raised improvements while the campaign was still live, rather than saving them for a wash-up.
  • Senior representation. The consultants were experienced enough to hold the brand properly — to the buyer, they were simply Logitech.
  • Time given back. Benny’s team stayed on their own work for the length of the campaign.

What’s next

A partnership that keeps renewing

The work continues into the next cycle of launches and events. The relationship is now long enough that each campaign starts further along than the last one did — which is the compounding effect a returning team is for.

Benny recommends the model to anyone looking for an experienced outbound partner rather than an agency to supervise.
